This blog post will be updated regularly as a chronology of the progress at the construction site of the Hollywood Theater at 2815-2819 Johnson Street NE in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The building will be prepared for a future overall redevelopment with masonry repointing at the limestone, chimney repair, cleaning, restoration and relighting of the marquee, replacement of missing windows, and removal of the plywood and refurbishment of the doors on Johnson Street.

Recently, we have been preparing a Historic Preservation Certification Application to determine the eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
