Hollywood Theater nomination receives unanimous approval by State Review Board
On November 19, 2013, the Minnesota Historical Society's State Review Board unanimously supported a nomination for listing the Hollywood Theater in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The nomination, prepared by Gregory Donofrio, Meghan Elliott, and Ryan Salmon of Preservation Design Works, was initially reviewed by the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office earlier this fall.
Now that the nomination has been approved by the State Review Board, it will be sent to the National Park Service for review, which is the next step in the approval process for listing a property in the NRHP.
A draft of the Hollywood Theater nomination can be found on the NRHP nominations page at the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office's website.
