Notable Concrete in the Twin Cities
We are pleased to announce that three submissions for "Notable Concrete in Minneapolis and the Vicinity," prepared by Meghan Elliott and Ryan Salmon of Preservation Design Works have been selected for publication in conjunction with the American Concrete Institute's (ACI) Spring 2013 Convention. Meghan and Ryan highlighted three historic landmarks in Minneapolis constructed from reinforced concrete: the Plymouth Building, the Washburn-Crosby Elevator No. 1, and the Washburn Park Water Tower. Descriptions and photos of these notable structures and others will be featured in the convention's brochure and the March 2013 issue of Concrete International. Visit the links below to view the brochure and an excerpt from Concrete International.
The ACI Spring 2013 Convention is being hosted in Minneapolis from April 14-19. Visit the convention's website for more information.
